Sean Foley is a lawyer, writer, and part time fly fishing guide living in Kansas City, Missouri, and guiding throughout the Missouri Ozarks. When not fishing or working, he tries to write. He worked as a copywriter, editor, and political communications professional before returning to law school. After graduating near the top of his law school class, he worked for a federal judge, a national law firm, and now serves as an Assistant United States Attorney. He has been published in academic journals, but recent events have prompted existential questions—who we are and why we are here—and the best ways to process them, for him, is to write about them.
